About

As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SilverX Fund, Dhiraj invests in semiconductors, quantum, space, defence, energy, robotics and the physical infrastructure behind AI. He runs a concentrated portfolio, making larger commitments to fewer companies and releasing capital as each one hits its technical milestones. Follow-on money goes to the companies that prove their technology works.

Before SilverX, he co-founded SucSEED Indovation Fund and SucSEED Angels Network and spent close to a decade investing at pre-seed. He still invests as an angel in Xbattery, Fuski Ventures and Protrainy, and sits on the advisory board of the CIMP Business Incubation and Innovation Foundation in Patna.

Dhiraj came to venture capital from law, working on mergers, cross-border deals and private equity, and still draws on that experience when he assesses risk. He holds an LLM in International Commercial Law and Practice from the University of Edinburgh and studied corporate and securities law with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

On picking companies
A decade at pre-seed taught him that the founder matters more than the market or the business model.
